This painting is of a very well known surf spot in Doolin. It's a reef break that barrells and is mainly surfed by short boarders with balls. I haven't surfed this wave, preferring to surf out to the left of the safer Doolin Reef.
I was delighted when a young couple living in London came across my website and made the journey over to Co Clare with a view to buying a piece of my work, this is the one they plummed for...many thanks lads!
