Client commissioned the painting to sink into the yellow of his wall, so I ended up painting yellow the colour of his walls on to the painting itself. It gave an interesting optical illusion and is something I would probably have never tried. That's one of the positive aspects of commissions, they sometimes push you in a direction that you probably wouldn't have ever gone.
