After a trip home to Wales, I felt I should do some Welsh paintings.
This was the first one I did and I was immediatley hit by the difference in colour compared to the paintings I have done in Ireland.
I feel this is probably part of my unconscious mental approach to Wales and my memories of growing up there. My Irish scenes seem to be more vibrant compared to my first responses to the Welsh scenes.
